Alvise Simondetti
Alvise is a graduate of Turin Polytechnic, a Fulbright Scholar and a graduate of Massachusetts Institute of Technology under the supervision of Prof. William J. Mitchell. His thesis was on “rapid prototyping in early stages of architectural design”.
Alvise’s Future Tools study identified three emerging designer’s toolkits: Project Inception Toolkit to comunicate with clients, Experiential Toolkit to communicate with designers and Radical Design Innovation Adoption toolkit for end users. His development of interactive environments enables multiuser control, and Realtime 2.0 giving the user the ability to add notes and preset paths. He leads Arup’s Virtual Design Network.
