A report exploring the fundamental questions of spaces, services, products, experiences, and cultures that define the future of “care”, and what this will mean for a leading global skincare company. It analyses a set of global trends that will have a significant impact on the definition and delivery of care in the future.
What will “care” mean in the year 2040? Foresight delivered a series of future user journeys and product experiences that aim to identify opportunities for product, service and experience innovation across a range of global markets and product categories.
User journeys explore the future through the eyes of the customer or “user”. This people-centred approach ensures that new products, services or experiences are designed around people, their expectations and desires. It ensures that innovation is driven not only by technological-opportunities, but crucially by what experiences we actually want to create for people. User journeys and experience design allow the analysis and conceptualisation of new innovation opportunities. They also help communicate and share new ideas, and allow organisations to explore ideas through a different lens.
Insights include emerging growth, future retail concepts, and new points of sale. Additionally, this report identifies directions for growth that will help identify strategic opportunities across existing and new markets.
