An exhibition presenting Nicolas Grospierre’s ingenious response to the award-winning design of the Polish Aviation Museum, Krakow.
Nicolas Grospierre probes the relationship between architecture and photography. For this project, he spent several weeks photographing as many surfaces as possible of the museum building. He then flattened its distinctive form into a series of photo-mosaics and folded a further set of large-scale prints into gigantic paper planes, which were suspended in the exhibition space.
Visitors to the exhibition were also encouraged to make their own paper planes from a page of the exhibition guide and launch them across the space.
